My goodness, you
are so sweet to pay so much attention to each of
your students. Yes Murni has excitedly come home
to share her recipes and experience with me. She
has started to try out a couple of dishes that
have turned out.

Thank you so much for the update. It's a nice
touch. She really enjoyed it and said you were
cool!

Thank you Annette - Aurora
has been making the meals at home and we are all
very impressed. Is there another course she can
do when this one finishes?

- By Robin Challis (Maid: Aurora)
As expected, Grace had a great
time last Friday, and she had already made the
banana bread with my daughter (10 years old, who
loves to bake but don't know how, that's why
Grace is attending the course) 2 days ago. It
was really yummy!!!! Well, am looking forward to
more yummy cakes to try, many thanks for your
update. Grace was touched by your praise!!!!

Thank you for the personalized updates - I
really appreciate them. Merlyn is loving the
class. Merlyn started with us with a smile on
her face and her smile has broadened with your
course. She was also apprehensive when in the
kitchen and with no exaggeration I can say your
classes have given her great confidence.

Maria came home extremely enthusiastic about the
class, which is great. She went on to cook the
roasted pistachio encrusted lamb and then the
lasagna and then the risotto over the last few
days. Great stuff!! To be honest, sending her
on this course has given her a bit more of
enthusiasm and confidence in her cooking! I am
just looking forward to more variety in our
daily meals!!!

Thank you for your email and the photos! We
really enjoyed the baked fish with dates and
pine nuts. The other dishes Umi learnt look like
they could be served in a restaurant! They look
so good. I'm looking forward to the roasted
honey balsamic vegetables next. I'm so very glad
to have found your services on the Internet!
There is a need in Singapore for what you're
doing, and we are happy to be the ones
benefitting from your expertise! Thanks and keep
it up! :-)

Sharon De Castro (Maid: Umi)
The food was excellent. I love the oat and date
snack bars. The bircher muesli is a favourite
of mine (my standard breakfast when travelling)
so I am glad we can now have it at home.

Reynita is having a lovely
time attending your classes, she comes home
excited about what she has been cooking and
tells me all about it. She is truly enjoying the
lessons. She has made several items; the quiche
especially is very good. This week she hopes to
make the melting moments (I remember baking
these when I was a child) and the chocolate
balls. Thank you!!

McNaughton (Maid: Reynita)
Cherry
absolutely loved the class on Friday and hasn't
stopped talking about all the things that you
made. Thank you so much - you're obviously a
great teacher and it seemed like they all had a
good time, as well as learning how to bake.
Cherry loves your class! We came home from a
weekend away to a freezer full of biscuits and
lemon slices, and today she and my older
daughter made a batch of cheese muffins for
lunch. Cherry has expressed an interest in doing
your cooking courses once the baking is
finished, so could you let me know the next
available dates for that? I wouldn’t hesitate
for a second about signing her up to any of your
classes. She would definitely like to do to the
basic and intermediate cooking courses, so could
you put her name down and just let me know the
dates etc in due course. Many thanks.

Ok. The fish curry is the winner
so far. Gerannie is getting straight A’s from
us. We are huge curry fans and vow never to buy
store-bought curry past again!
The Moroccan chicken is my new
favourite dish. Even my 5 yr old loved it. We
are making good progress here : )
You are certainly a miracle
worker. My five year old was so intrigued by the
string beans recipe with almonds and dressing
that she ate her first string bean ever! We all
enjoyed the fried rice and mashed potatoes. My
one and a half year old ate two bowls of the
fried rice! We are looking forward to having her
make some nice breakfast for us on the weekend.
The chicken skewers are still winners with us
and our 5 year old. My daughter begs for chicken
skewers for her school lunch, and this is a kid
who complains when any other form of chicken,
even chicken rice! Her homemade tomato sauce was
delicious and she found ways to had some hidden
veggies for the kids. I can see she is more
cafeful about freezing items and storing them
correctly. She also made some nice chicken stock
and has used in in a number of dishes for the
kids. She tried all the recipes for us within
the first two days after the class!

Gerannie)
You are a GODSEND! Seriously.
It’s just been brilliant for me, for Linda, and
for Linda’s confidence. She is taking
initiative and pride in the kitchen. I’m all for
whatever private lessons you are up for doing.
When would you like to begin the next block of
private lessons? Additionally, please hold a
place for Linda in your next available
Intermediate AND Advanced classes. And if there
are any other 1-day courses, please sign her
up. More practice and exposure the better.
BTW Linda made delicious pancakes
for breakfast this morning. I was very
impressed! What a change! Kudos to you! THANK
YOU!!!

Just a quick recap
of how this has changed my life....Since I last
wrote, Jolfha has been cooking both lunches and
dinners, the Fish curry - simply the best dish
EVER to be served in my home! Seared blackened
salmon and salsa - memorably the second best,
especially the sweet corn salsa. Gorgonzola,
walnut and spinach salad, Fish marinated in
ginger and spices, Salmon pasta in tomato and
cream sauce.....ALL delicious things!!! Mon to
mention the Banana and sesame puffs. She's very
proud of her certificate - and her new apron.
Thanks very much for helping us out in such a
tasty way! Well balanced diets rule!

Hi Annette, thank
you for the reports and thank you so much for
the course! Marilyn's cooking skills have
changed unrecognizably! on Friday we had guests
for dinner and she prepared your minestrone
soup, roast chicken and the apple cake for
dessert. All was delicious and our guests didn't
believe that only few weeks ago she didn't know
anything aboutwestern cooking...

Many thanks for the update. Nenita clearly
thrived in your class and has become much more
confident. We’d love to put her in another
session. Thanks Annette.
